Frittata

Frittata

A frittata is an Italian dish that is made from eggs. It is somewhere between the traditional omelet and a crust less quiche. It is normally enhanced through the addition of cheeses, meats, and vegetables. If you are tired of your regular omelet or simply looking for a new cooking challenge, then the frittata is definitely for you. It is recommended that you start learning how to cook a vegetarian frittata first, just for the sake of simplicity.

Health Benefits

The frittata is a delight to the senses, and a pleasure to the body because it’s just hands down a healthy dish. It has everything you could need to be healthy – veggies, spices, and eggs of course. The eggs are especially good for your health because they are such fabulous sources of protein and good fats, including omega-3 fatty acids. They do so much for your body, including helping to build new cells, acting as an anti-inflammatory, and even lowering your cholesterol.
