Ingredients

Butter: 1 tbsp

salt: 1/2 tsp

dried thyme: 1 tsp

ground all spice: 1 tsp

cup chicken broth: 1

frozen petite peas: 10 oz

cup evaporated milk: 1

flour: 2 tbsp

How To Make Cream Of Pea Soup

  1. Combine the butter, seasonings, chicken broth and the peas in a large pan.
  2. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat.
  3. Cook until the peas are soft, about 5 minutes, stirring from time to time. Do not drain.
  4. Blend milk and flour together in a blender until smooth.
  5. Gradually pour the mixture of milk and flour into the soup.
  6. Stir constantly over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  7. Serve the soup hot.
