How To Make Cheese tomato

This cheese tomato recipe that is meant to produce around 7 servings will take you less than ½hr to prepare.

  • Pre-heat your oven to 400°F or 200°C
  • Take baking paper and spread it on your baking tray
  • Take a bowl and pour in your flour
  • Next, put in your paprika and the butter
  • It is now time to rub the butter into the flour mixture
  • Dice your spring onion and add the pieces into the bowl
  • Next, put in the cheese
  • Proceed to stir that mixture using a fork
  • Then add 2 tablespoons tomato juice and stir to mix the contents

What you should anticipate to see is dough that is sticking together nicely. If that is not happening, you need to add some more tomato juice and mix till your dough is smooth.

  • Now sprinkle a little flour on a flat surface and roll your dough on it
  • The rolled dough should be around 1cm thick
  • From that dough, cut out circular pieces using a 5cm biscuit cutter
  • Put those circular pieces on a baking tray, nicely lined
  • Insert the tray into the pre-heated oven
  • Let your cheese and tomato melts bake for around ¼hr. They will have become firm.

Your cheese tomato recipe is now ready, and all you want is for your melts to cool before you can enjoy your snack. You can serve apple slices alongside the melts and enjoy. However, since no harm will befall the snacks if you keep them hot longer, you can put them in a lunchbox for a while if you want to attend to something else first, and then when you are about to eat you open the lunchbox and let them cool.
