Top 5 Home Remedies to Improve Your Skin Tone

Your skin tone, the actual color of your skin is very important. People can have an uneven tone or discoloration that makes one part of your skin standout over the other. This is especially prone to happening during tans. There are some chemical procedures to address this problem, but they can often cause more damage than they repair. Natural remedies are actually a great option that won’t harm your skin.

Milk & Rose Water Cleanser

Milk has powerful moisturizing, whitening, healing, and soothing properties. Rose water on the other hand is a mild astringent and skin toner that can brighten your complexion, remove impurities, and shrink your pores.

Ingredients
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp rose water

Procedure
Thoroughly mix the ingredients and apply them using a cotton ball. Make this a regular part of your skin treatment regimen.

Use Yogurt Face Mask

The lactic acid in yogurt acts as a natural exfoliant that can clean your skin of dead surface cells and reveal a smoother and more even toned complexion.

Ingredients
1 tbsp yogurt
1 tsp honey
1 pinch of turmeric

Procedure
Combine all the ingredients then apply them to your clean face using a brush. Let the yogurt sit for 10 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water. Apply daily for a week.

Coffee Microdermabrasion

Professional microdermabrasion treatments can run you a lot of money. Thankfully, coffee is a very effective microdermabrasion thanks to the crystalized structure of coffee grounds.

Ingredients
1 tsp of finely ground coffee
1/4th tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp honey
1 tsp filter water

Procedure
Mix all the ingredients into a slightly soupy paste. Apply the paste using your hands or a cotton ball and massage it into your skin for 2 minutes. Then rinse off the paste using warm water.

Daily Oil-Cleansing Recipe

You can use this oil cleansing method to remove dead skin cells, dirt, and grime. This can even out your skin tone and improve the complexion.

Ingredients
1 tsp sweet almond oil
1/2 tsp olive oil
2 drops orange essential oil

Procedure
Blend all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Massage the oil blend into your face then place a hot washcloth over it. Let the washcloth sit on your face or a minute. Rinse your face using the washcloth.

Homemade Facial Oil Moisturizer

Use this facial oil to deeply moisturizes your skin, repair damaged cells, fade discoloration, even your tone and give your skin a beautiful luster.

Ingredients
1 tsp vitamin E oil
2 drops sandalwood essential oil
3 drops glycerin

Procedure
