How to Get Relief from Rashes Under Breasts

Rashes under the breast are very common during the summer months. They can cause constant itching and can occur in the form of redness of the skin under the breasts. The rashes could be due to microbial infections or allergies and here are some natural remedies that will provide relief from the rashes. However, we strongly recommend that you consult your doctor before using these home remedies.

Remedies to treat rashes under breasts

  • Baking soda: Baking soda is alkaline in nature and will increase the pH of the skin and provide relief from itching. For this, add a few drops of water to a teaspoon of baking soda. Mix well and apply on the affected area. Allow it to remain for half an hour. Rinse with water.
  • Coconut oil: Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Rub coconut oil in your palms and apply over the affected d area. Allow it to remain there until it dries.
  • Apple cider vinegar: Apple cider vinegar has anti-microbial properties. Add 1-2 tbsp of raw apple cider vinegar to half a cup of water. Mix thoroughly and soak a cotton ball in the mixture. Apply the cotton on the affected area and leave it to dry. Rinse with water.
  • Tea tree oil: Tea tree oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. It will provide relief from itching and swelling. Mix 2-3 drops of tea tree oil in 2-3 drops of any carrier oil. Mix thoroughly and apply on the affected area. Allow it to remain overnight and rinse in the morning.
  • Cold compresses: Cold compress will numb the affected area which will help to reduce the itchiness.
  • Garlic: Garlic has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. Mince garlic cloves and add 1 tbsp of olive oil. Heat slightly, strain, and apply the oil on the affected area. Allow it to remain overnight and rinse in the morning.
