Ingredients

boneless mutton – diced into 1 in cubes: 500

cup sweet corn kernels, boiled: 1/2

cups warm water: 2

tablespoon olive oil: 1 1/2

large egg, lightly beaten: 1

cup mixed vegetables, frozen or fresh: 1/2

pinch turmeric powder, freshly ground: 1

Salt, as needed (for taste)

cup macaroni (optional): 1/2

teaspoon coriander powder, freshly ground: 1/4

teaspoon corn flour: 1/2

garlic cloves: 2

large onion, fine chopped: 1

teaspoon garam masala powder: 1/2

stick cinnamon: 1

cloves: 3

medium green chilies: 2

inch ginger: 1/2

tablespoon coriander seeds: 1

tablespoon cumin seeds: 1

tablespoon fennel seeds: 1/2

tablespoon coriander leaves, crushed: 1/2

handful of Mint leaves (for garnishing)

How To Make Sweet Corn Mutton Soup

  1. Combine green chilies, ginger, garlic, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, and cumin seeds and transfer the mixture to a large cooking pot over. Add water, mutton, salt, garam masala, and turmeric powder. Let cook on medium-high flame for half an hour.
  2. Lower the heat and add sweet corns, mixed vegetables, macaroni, and egg to the cooking pot. Stir while cooking.
  3. Meanwhile, make a paste of corn flour and water. Set aside.
  4. In a pan over medium flame, add onions, cinnamon, and cloves and cook until onion pieces turn golden. Transfer to the boiling soup and and add corn flour paste.
  5. Simmer for another 10 minutes until the soup thickens.
  6. Turn off the stove and transfer soup into bowls.
  7. Garnish with mint leaves and coriander leaves and enjoy.
