Ingredients
boneless mutton – diced into 1 in cubes: 500
cup sweet corn kernels, boiled: 1/2
cups warm water: 2
tablespoon olive oil: 1 1/2
large egg, lightly beaten: 1
cup mixed vegetables, frozen or fresh: 1/2
pinch turmeric powder, freshly ground: 1
Salt, as needed (for taste)
cup macaroni (optional): 1/2
teaspoon coriander powder, freshly ground: 1/4
teaspoon corn flour: 1/2
garlic cloves: 2
large onion, fine chopped: 1
teaspoon garam masala powder: 1/2
stick cinnamon: 1
cloves: 3
medium green chilies: 2
inch ginger: 1/2
tablespoon coriander seeds: 1
tablespoon cumin seeds: 1
tablespoon fennel seeds: 1/2
tablespoon coriander leaves, crushed: 1/2
handful of Mint leaves (for garnishing)
How To Make Sweet Corn Mutton Soup
- Combine green chilies, ginger, garlic, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, and cumin seeds and transfer the mixture to a large cooking pot over. Add water, mutton, salt, garam masala, and turmeric powder. Let cook on medium-high flame for half an hour.
- Lower the heat and add sweet corns, mixed vegetables, macaroni, and egg to the cooking pot. Stir while cooking.
- Meanwhile, make a paste of corn flour and water. Set aside.
- In a pan over medium flame, add onions, cinnamon, and cloves and cook until onion pieces turn golden. Transfer to the boiling soup and and add corn flour paste.
- Simmer for another 10 minutes until the soup thickens.
- Turn off the stove and transfer soup into bowls.
- Garnish with mint leaves and coriander leaves and enjoy.
