Ingredients

chicken breast halves (boneless and skinless): 4

Butter: 4 tbsp

olive oil: 2 tbsp

fresh mushrooms, sliced: 1/4 lb

shredded Swiss cheese: 1 cup

cream of chicken soup: 1 can

garlic salt: 1 tsp

paprika: 1 tsp

Fresh chopped parsley

How To Make Suprême de Volaille d’Ancenis

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, sauté and lightly brown the chicken breasts in butter.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the mushrooms in olive oil until they are lightly browned. Add the cream of chicken soup and the sour cream to the mushrooms and keep stirring for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the paprika and the garlic salt to the mushroom mixture.
  5. Take an 8x8 greased baking dish and place the chicken breasts in it.
  6. Pour the mushroom mixture over the chicken breasts evenly.
  7. Bake the chicken for 30 minutes until all the juices have ran clear.
  8. Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top of the chicken and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until it is bubbly and completely melted.
  9. Sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley on top of the chicken for garnishing.
