Spaghetti torte

An extremely elegant looking torte which is surprisingly easy to prepare without taking too much of your time, spaghetti torte requires only about 15 minutes of prep time and 60 minutes for cooking. It is the perfect dish to serve your friends and family for a quick get-together at the house. This baked spaghetti dish is made in a non-stick springform pan. It is so delicious that by the time everyone is finished with your dish, there will be few leftovers to put in the fridge.

Ingredients

packages of spaghetti: 2

baking spray

cup of Parmesan cheese: 1/2

cup of ricotta cheese: 1/2

tbsp of Italian seasoning: 1

Eggs: 2

tbsp of dried basil leaves: 1/4

tomatoes that are neatly cut into 5 equal portions of slices: 2

slices of provolone cheese, cut in half: 4

How To Make Spaghetti torte

  • Apply the baking spray on a 9 by 3 inch sprinform pan
  • Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions inscribed on the package
  • Rinse the spaghetti and drain all the water
  • In a separate bowl, combine the parmesan cheese with ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning and egg. Whisk well
  • Put half the spaghetti mixture into the pan
  • Apply half of the basil on to the spaghetti
  • Top with half of the tomatoes
  • Place half of the remaining provolone cheese on the tomatoes
  • Repeat the same with the remaining ingredients
  • Bake the mixture a preheated oven at about 350 degree F for about 30 minutes.
  • Let the spaghetti torte stand for about 15 minutes
  • Remove the spaghetti torte from the pan
  • Cut the spaghetti torte from the pan and serve whole green beans
