Ingredients

kg ground beef: 1

sweet onion: 1/2

ounces marinara pasta sauce: 24

cloves freshly minced garlic: 2

cups ricotta: 2

large egg: 1

cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese: 1/4

cup freshly chopped parsley: 1/4

cup freshly chopped basil leaves: 1/3

teaspoon garlic powder: 1

ounces frozen cheese ravioli: 25

cups shredded Mozzarella cheese: 2

How To Make Ravioli Lasagna

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with a non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Heat a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion.
  4. Cook the beef until it gets brown and begins to crumble.
  5. Now drain the fat and set aside.
  6. Add the marinara sauce and garlic. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 to 6 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, add ricotta, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and garlic powder in a medium sized mixing bowl. Stir it thoroughly until well-combined.
  8. Now evenly spread 1/3 of the prepared meat mixture into the prepared pan.
  9. Top with a single layer of ravioli. Then spread half of the ricotta mixture, and then 1/3 of the sauce.
  10. Repeat the process by layering the lasagna in the same order. In the end, top it up by spreading the marinara sauce.
  11. Sprinkle the top layer with mozzarella cheese and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sauce begins to bubble.
  12. Now garnish the cooked lasagna with basil leaves.
  13. Serve it with garlic bread and enjoy the tasty ravioli lasagna!
