Ingredients

wine: 1 glass

strawberries: 6

water: 1 glass

water: 1 glass

pummelo: 1

Honey: 4 tbsp

ginger: 1 inch

How To Make Pummelo Juice

For White Wine Ice Cubes

  1. Pour a glass of wine into an ice tray.
  2. Put the ice tray in the freezer and let it freeze for at least a couple of hours.

For Water Ice Cubes

  1. Pour a glass of water into an ice tray.
  2. Put the ice tray in the freezer and let it freeze for at least a couple of hours.

For Strawberry Ice Cubes

  1. Remove strawberry crowns.
  2. Slice the strawberries in half.
  3. Fill up an ice tray with water in a way that only half of the cube compartments are filled.
  4. Add one strawberry slice to each of the ice cube compartments.
  5. Put the ice tray in the freezer and let it freeze for at least a couple of hours.

For Pummelo Juice

  1. Peel off the pummelo skin thoroughly.
  2. Make sure none of the peels are stuck on the slices inside before you throw them in the blender.
  3. Add honey into the blender.
  4. Peel off the ginger and add it into the blender as well.
  5. Add water ice cubes in the blender and spin it for a few minutes.
  6. Strain out the pummelo juice into a jug using a strainer.
  7. Once, all the pulp has been set aside, pour it into glasses.
  8. Add strawberry ice cubes and white wine ice cubes into the glasses to serve chilled!

  • Pummelo was once known as ‘shaddock’. It was due to the fact that it had been shipped from Asia by an English Captain named Captain Shaddock of the East India Company.
