Ingredients

Potatoes: 6

celery stalks: 4

Water as needed

fresh parsley leaves – a bunch

medium carrots: 2

garlic cloves: 5

mushrooms: 1/4 pounds

spinach – a bunch

ginger: 3 inches thick pieces

onions: 2 large or 4 small ones

beets with greens: 3

cayenne pepper – to taste

salt to taste

Turmeric powder: 2-3 tsp

Dried oregano: 4 tbsp

thyme: 2 tbsp

rosemary: 2 tbsp

How To Make Potassium Broth

  1. Take a large pot and place it on the stove at low heat.
  2. Add 8 to 10 glasses of filtered water into the pot.
  3. Take the potatoes and peel them off.
  4. Make sure the peels stay undamaged.
  5. Set the potatoes aside and wash the peels thoroughly to get rid of all the dirt.
  6. Put the potato peels in the pot.
  7. Take celery stalks and chop them into small pieces.
  8. Add these into the pot as well.
  9. Take the carrots, peel them off and wash these up thoroughly.
  10. Slice the carrots evenly and put these into the pot as well.
  11. Add Parsley leaves, spinach leaves and ginger into the pot.
  12. After peeling the onions, chop them into small pieces before adding to the pot.
  13. Take the garlic cloves and mince them finely before adding to the pot.
  14. Peel off the beets and wash them thoroughly.
  15. Dice all the beets into pieces and add to the pot.
  16. Add mushrooms, cayenne pepper, salt, turmeric powder, dried oregano, thyme and rosemary into the pot.
  17. Mix up all the ingredients well with a spoon.
  18. Let the broth simmer on low heat for at least 2 to 3 hours.
  19. Once, done pour out the broth and serve hot!
