Pineapple Cake

Pineapple Cake

Pineapple cake is a glorious culinary achievement. It combines two of the greatest foods in the world, pineapple and cake. This dessert can be sickly sweet if you’re not careful, but it’s also a fantastic after dinner treat. The pineapple taste will help clear your palette, and the sugar will provide you with that extra energy to help you get up from the table and move around after a big meal. Make this cake for any special occasion, like birthdays and anniversaries, or simply make it to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Health Benefits

Cake is typically not considered a healthy thing to eat; but it’s a different story when you add pineapple. Pineapples house several health benefits that are a direct result of its surplus of nutrients and vitamins. They include potassium, manganese, calcium, copper, vitamin C, magnesium, beta-carotene, folate, vitamin B6, thiamin, and insoluble fiber. Together, they boost the body’s defense against pathogens and disease, speeds up the healing process, prevents cancer, and even improves bone health.
