Ingredients

tbsp corn flour: 2

pack paneer--cubed: 1

tsp Kashmiri chili powder: 1 1/2

cup all-purpose flour: 1/2

cup water, or as needed: 1/2

Oil to deep fry

inch ginger-minced: 1

teaspoon oil: 3

salt to taste

cup onion – finely chopped: 1/2

cloves garlic, minced: 2

tbsp soy sauce: 1

cup tomato sauce: 1/2

tbsp vinegar: 1

spring onion – finely chopped: 1

How To Make Paneer Manchurian

  1. Combine corn flour, maida, salt and chilli powder.
  2. Gradually add water to make a batter of flowing consistency.
  3. Plunk in cubed paneer and coat well with batter.
  4. Deep fry the batter-coated paneer pieces and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  5. Heat 3 tsp oil in a pan and sauté garlic and gingerfor about 1 min.
  6. Add onions and sauté until they sweat and introduce vinegar, soy sauce and tomato sauce. Add chilli powder and salt, and sauté for about 2 minutes, or until the sauce becomes a bit thick.
  7. Add fried paneer, stir to coat, and add finely-chopped spring onions green.
  8. Enjoy delicious paneer manchurian!
