Ingredients

1 package (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix

4 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate

1/4 cup butter

8 oz cream cheese – softened

1/2 cup white sugar

2 cups frozen whipped topping – thawed

12 OREO Cookies – coarsely crushed

How To Make Oreo cake

  • Heat oven to 350 °
  • Prepare cake batter
  • Bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans according to package instructions.
  • Cool cakes in pans 10 minutes.
  • Invert onto wire racks then remove pans carefully.
  • Let cakes cool completely.
  • Microwave chocolate and butter in small bowl at high temperature for 2 minutes.
  • Stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
  • Cool 5 minutes.
  • Beat sugar and cream cheese in large bowl using a mixer until thoroughly blended.
  • Gently stir in crushed cookies and whipped topping.
  • Stack cake layers on plate, filling with cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread top with chocolate glaze.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes or until firm.
  • Keep refrigerated.
