oz pepper- red, roasted and drained: 7

cup bread crumbs: 2

cup walnuts- toasted and finely chopped: 1/3

garlic cloves- minced and mashed: 2

salt to taste

tbsp lemon juice: 1

tsp pomegranate molasses: 2

tsp cumin- grinded: 1

tsp pepper flakes- dried: 1/2

cup olive oil: 3/4

How To Make Muhammara

  • Blend the red pepper, bread crumbs, walnuts, garlic, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, cumin, pepper flakes, and salt to obtain a very smooth texture.
  • Transfer to a bowl, add oil gradually and mix very well.
  • Serve with pita and enjoy
