Lemon and Thyme Lamb Chops

Lemon and Thyme Lamb Chops

Lemon and thyme lamb chops are classic fare. Lamb chops have been enjoyed for centuries due to it being such a simple cut and the high prevalence of lamb. Due to lamb’s strong natural flavors, it doesn’t require a lot of seasoning to taste good. The lemon and thyme serve to enhance the fatty flavor of the lamb instead of overpowering it. This dish is also very enjoyable to prepare, it can be cooked very naturally outdoors and uses very simple ingredients, giving the cook a sense of nostalgia.

Health Benefits

Lamb chops are truly one of the oldest meals available to mankind. There’s good reason for that too, and it’s more than it just tastes good. Lamb is up there with beef in being a good source of zinc and iron minerals. These two minerals are very important for body regulation. The iron helps to create new blood cells and ensure the distribution of oxygen to the body. Zinc is responsible for protein production and helps regulate your body’s sleep cycle.
