  4. Heat 5 to 6 tablespoons of olive oil into a non-stick frying pan.
  5. Add the potatoes into the pan while the flame is still high.
  6. Fry the potatoes until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  7. Turn the flame low.
  8. Now sprinkle the potatoes with salt and black pepper powder. Garnish with chopped parsley leaves.
  9. Stir the potatoes for a couple of minutes more then take them off the heat and set aside for assembling.

  2. Add sausages into the pan.

Note: the sausages must be at least an inch deep into the oil.

  1. Let one side fry for at least 20 minutes over medium heat.
  2. Fry all 4 sides until they turn medium brown.
  3. Take it off the heat once it’s done.

For Assembling

  1. Take a separate dish. Put the cooked sausages and potatoes into it.
  2. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley leaves and serve hot!

Trivia

  • The word “sausage” is derived from the Latin word salsisium with means ‘something that has been salted’.
  • Many people agree that one should avoid poking a sausage (no matter how tempted they may be!) as it cooks because it releases its entire flavor when poked.
