Ingredients

g tilapia fillets – or your fish of choice: 300

grated onion: 1

tomato – grated: 1

tsp garlic paste: 1

tsp tomato sauce: 3-4

tsp chilli sauce: 3-4

maida: 350 g

tsp oil: 2

Water for preparing the dough

yeast: 2-3 g

salt to taste

How To Make Fish Spring Rolls

  1. Boil the fish fillets in water for 10 mins.
    1. Strain the water when it softens.
    2. Set the fish aside
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions and tomatoes.
    1. Cook until the vegetables soften.
    2. Add the garlic paste and salt to it.
    3. Add the fish to the vegetables and mix well.
    4. Cook till the vegetables and fish are done.
    5. Mash and set aside.
  3. Prepare dough with white flour, oil, salt, yeast, and water.
    1. Set aside for 30 mins.

Note: The yeast will help make the dough fluffy and soft.

  1. Divide the dough into 30 portions.
    1. Roll out 3" chapattis from the portions
    2. Add one scoop of the mashed fish and place on the chapatti in the center.
    3. Fold into a cylindrical shape at both ends.
    4. Close both the ends.
  2. Place the roll on a frying pan and toast without oil for 2 minutes on both sides.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the baked roll until it turns a golden brown.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
