tablespoons of Olive Oil or enough to coat the noodles: 4

packets of Fideo noodles: 2

tomatoes (Diced and drained): 3

small onion: 1

small garlic clove (minced): 1

tablespoons of seasoning or as wanted: 2-3

cups of water: 2-4

cups of chicken or beef (Optional; always use fully cooked if you choose to add chicken or beef in the recipe. You can use leftovers as well.): 2

How To Make Delicious Fideo

  • In a large frying pan, add 4 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat and add the Fideo noodles. The oil should be enough to have all the noodles covered.
  • Mix the noodles thoroughly in the oil.
  • Add the onion.
  • Fry noodles until they have turned golden brown. Keep on stirring them so that they do not get burned.
  • As soon as the noodles turn golden brown, add water.
  • Keep adding water gradually, depending on the consistency you want to keep your dish.
  • After water, add tomatoes and garlic.
  • This is the stage where you add chicken or beef if you wanted to.
  • Let the pasta simmer and wait until almost all water is evaporated.
  • Taste the pasta to note if they are still crunchy. If yes, add more water.
  • Cook until the noodles are soft.
  • Take off the stove and eat while warm.
