Ingredients

kg chicken: 1/2

cup yogurt: 2 2/1

tsp cumin: 1

tsp garlic paste: 1

tsp red chilli powder: 1/2

tsp turmeric: 1/4

tsp garam masala: 1/4

A Few slit green chillies

chopped onions: 2

chopped tomato: 1

Coriander leaves to garnish

tsp oil: 2

tsp salt: 1

How To Make Dahi Chicken

  1. Mix the yoghurt, cumin powder, garlic paste, garam masala, haldi, and red chilli powder.

Note: Mix with hands.

  1. Add chicken and add slit chillies.
  2. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  1. Heat 2 tsp oil in pan and add onions.
    1. Cook till translucent and soft.
    2. Add the tomatoes.
    3. Cook for a minute and add all the chicken and marinade.
  2. Keep cooking till gravy reaches the consistency you like.

Note: If you like it drier – cook a little bit more till yogurt curdles around chicken.

  1. Salt to taste.
  2. Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy.
