This wonderful cream cake is an interesting take on cakes in general. It uses heavy cream in place of butter giving it a different type of texture that is softer and (you guessed it) creamy. This cake is wonderfully delicious and pleasing to eyes. It has a delicate white appearance that will look wonderful as a center piece. Although you shouldn’t just make this cake to just look at it. That would be a waste; it is definitely made to be eaten, for it tastes as delicious as it looks.

Roman bread was actually closer to modern day cake than bread.
