Health Benefits

Chicken soup has long been used as a cold remedy. The common cold is typically considered to be caused by viral infections in the respiratory tract. The nutrient satiated broth is thought to slow the response rate of white blood cells. At first this may seem unhealthy, but the irritating symptoms of sickness, like fever, are often the result of your body attacking the virus. Chicken soup can alleviate your symptoms by regulating the effectiveness of T-cells.
