Chapli Kebab

The chapli kebab is another variant on the classic kebab dish. It is a Pashtun style kebab, noted for utilizing minced meats like mutton and beef. Ingredients

meat- minced: 2 lbs

small red onions- chopped: 3

tomatoes- peeled and chopped: 3

coriander- chopped: 3 tbsp

chilli: 2 tbsp

tbsp of garam masala: 1

green chillis- chopped: 2

ginger--chopped: 2 tbsp

Garlic (chopped): 2 tbsp

cumin seeds: 1 tbsp

flour: 2 tbsp

egg: 1

salt to taste

cooking oil: 3 tbsp

How To Make Chapli Kebab

  1. Mix the onions, green chillis, tomatoes, coriander, and meat together. 
  1. Add garam masala, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, and salt, then mix together. 
  1. Add the egg to the meat mixture and stir. 
  1. Add flour to the mixture.

Note: Make sure the mixture is sticky to help give the kebabs a really nice shape. 

  1. Rub the kebab with the meat mixture. 
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan then introduce the kebab to the pan. 
  1. Cook for 3 minutes till the kebab turns brown. 
  1. Serve at once.
