Ingredients

small yellow onion – cut into 1/4- in diced: 1

shredded Napa or Savoy cabbage: 4 cups

garlic cloves, minced: 2

vegetable oil: 2 tbsp

julienned carrots: 1 cup

long grain white rice – cooked: 4 cups

large eggs – beaten: 4

soy sauce: 2 tbsp

fresh ginger – minced and peeled: 2 tbsp

lime – juiced: 1

scallions –sliced thinly: 2

How To Make Cabbage Fried Rice

  1. Heat the oil in a nonstick wok.
  2. Add onion, carrots, and cabbage,then stir fry over high heat until the vegetables soften and start to brown.
  3. Add garlic and ginger,then cook until fragrant.
  4. Add the rice and stir-fry until it’s heated through and starts to brown.
  5. Push the fried rice to the side of the pan to create a well.
    1. Pour the eggs into the well and cook, stirring gently, until nearly cooked.
    2. Toss the fried rice with the eggs and cook for another minute.
    3. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in soy sauce, lime juice, and scallions.
    4. Transfer fried rice to bowls and serve.
