With a handful of ingredients and some fresh broccoli, this dish can be whipped up in a few minutes.

With the creaminess of lemon butter and the nuttiness of almonds, the chunks of broccoli is a blend of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

fresh broccoli: 1

cup melted butter: 1/4

tbsp lemon juice: 2

tsp lemon zest: 1

cup blanched slivered almonds: 1/4

Ranch dressing (optional)

How To Make Broccoli with Lemon Almond Butter

  • Boil or steam broccoli for four to eight minutes, until it is tender.
  • Drain the water and set the broccoli aside.
  • In a saucepan, add butter and allow it to melt.
  • Remove the pan from heat and add lemon zest, almonds and lemon juice.
  • Add the broccoli to the pan and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot, drizzled with ranch dressing
