Selenium and zinc deficiencies are some of the leading causes of acne. Nuts, especially Brazil nuts, are rich sources of both zinc and selenium which is what you need to prevent oily skin. Brazil nuts have the ability to preserve skin elasticity and protect cells from inflammation and damage.

Garlic
Garlic is one of the superfoods that people are most familiar with. It possesses a substantial amount of allicin, an anti-inflammatory agent. Preventing inflammation is important, because inflammation is what damages and irritates your skin.

Red Grapes

Red grapes are the reason why drinking a glass of wine a day is good for your health. They have lots of necessary antioxidants that kill cancer causing free radicals and treat skin inflammation.
