Here’s What You Can Use to Get Rid of Pregnancy Stretch Marks Naturally

Stretch marks, also known as striae, are scars that appear on your skin in the form of stripes or lines due to your skin changing shape rapidly. The marks may look unsightly, but they do not mean that you are unhealthy. Striae most commonly occurs during puberty or during pregnancy, two times in a person’s life when they naturally alter size at a rapid place.

Stretch marks will originally begin to appear as a thin purple or red line on your skin that will have a different texture than the rest of your skin. Eventually, the stretch marks will begin to fade and will become lighter or translucent and shiny. It is impossible to completely get rid of stretch marks. The scars rarely fade to the point that they become completely invisible. But you can use some natural remedies to minimize the appearance of stretch marks and help them fade faster.

Read on to learn more about natural remedies for minimizing stretch marks

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is also known as a retinoid, a compound that makes your skin appear more youthful and smoother. You can either absorb vitamin A through a topical cream or orally via your diet.

Sugar

Sugar has been used as a microdermabrasion treatment for quite a while now. Microdermabrasion is one of the few ways that dermatologists actually treat stretch marks. You can make a sugar scrub using a simple recipe.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is a natural healing agent and skin softener. You can apply fresh aloe vera to your striae, just crack your fresh aloe leaf and rub the gel over your stretch marks.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil can help to reduce scars on skin. It can reduce the redness of the stretch marks and help them become translucent faster.
