What’s more, lactic acid is a great moisturizer and will make the skin soft. The regular application of curd helps your skin glow and will also prevent the onset of blackheads.

Using Curd in Your Daily Beauty Regime

  • Curd is a great moisturizer and will leave it nourished and soft. You need to blend some honey and curd and apply this paste on your face. Leave it for 15 minutes and gently remove with cold water.
  • Curd can also help prevent the onset of acne. This is because this food has powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Apply curd on the areas of the face that are prone to developing acne and you’ll be surprised with the results!
  • Curd is also a powerful agent that provides lasting relief from sunburn. The latter is caused by the harsh UV rays from the sun that can make the skin look dull and lifeless. Severe sunburn often manifests itself in the form of blisters and rashes. Considering that curd has lots of zinc and anti-inflammatory compounds, it is sure to help provide you relief from the pain.
  • Curd will also help remove dark circles. Apply some fresh curd on the region below the eyes and let it stand for 10 minutes. Remove with lots of cold water. We recommend using this treatment daily for the best results.
