Foods That Make You Feel Younger

The way you look and the way you feel is to an extent dependent on your genetics. It is mostly dependent on your diet as well. What you eat determines your body’s possibilities. It effects the quality of your skin, i.e. wrinkles, blemishes, paleness, and other signs of aging can be directly contributed to your diet. It can also determine the way you feel; specifically, how young and vibrant you feel. Want to feel like you’re in your 20s again? Then try to adjust your diet with some of the foods listed below:

Foods to Eat to Make You Feel More Youthful

1. Green Tea

Green tea is a fantastic tea to drink due to its soothing effects and antioxidant content. The antioxidants will fight inflammation, reduce stress, improve skin elasticity, and block VEGF.

2. Specific fruits

There are specific fruits that have anti-aging properties. Many of these fruits are citrus and berries e.g. grapefruit, lemons, tomato, apples, blueberries, blackberries, pomegranates, etc.

3. Detox Water

Detox water is water meant to cleanse your bodily systems. It is typically just water satiated with fruits, such as, lemons, cucumbers, blueberries, grapefruits, etc. Drinking this regularly will help keep your skin toxin free.

4. Nuts

Nuts make for great snacks to include in your diet. They can provide your body with a great deal of slow burning energy that will keep your body functioning up to speed for a long period of time.

5. Seafood

Seafood, especially fatty fish like tuna, mackerel, anchovies, etc. are filled with high amounts of omega-3 fatty acids. Consuming seafood keeps your body feeling young and functioning young. The zinc content in most seafood also protects against macular degeneration and age related muscle loss.
