Exfoliate your Skin with these Natural Ingredients from your Kitchen

Two is better than one often applies when sharing a job. You can also use this idea for your skin care routine. However it doesn’t have to be two, you can add three ingredients too. When your skin gets exposed to dirt and pollution, the first thing you notice it becoming dull. Dull skin invites other issues like excess oil secretion leading to acne and early aging. Most of the ingredients used for cooking is also very beneficial for keeping skin healthy. Exfoliation is one of the important skin routines that you should follow if you want to let your skin glow and remain soft.

Olive Oil, Peppermint, and Sugar

These three ingredients with individual benefits, when combined works as an excellent exfoliator. Peppermint oil is part of most household because of its medicinal use. Mix 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4th cup olive oil and 15 drops of peppermint essential oil and massage gently for at least 15 minutes and wash it off. Do it twice a week. You can choose brown sugar instead of regular sugar.

Vanilla, olive oil and Sugar

If you have an ingredient in your kitchen that is tasty and healthy, it is safe for your skin too. A pure vanilla extract is known for its exotic flavour and is mostly used in ice-creams or sweet dishes. Get a tablespoon of vanilla extract and mix it with sugar. Here you can use both white and brown sugar, along with olive oil. This combination will leave your skin hydrated and smooth like silk. You can also use it alternate days.

Honey, Sugar, and Blueberry

This combination is heavenly. Too much sweet is bad for blood, but it’s quite the opposite for the skin. Blueberry is not just an exotic fruit but also has therapeutic benefits. It has rich content of Vitamin C and also antioxidants. Honey is well known for its multiple uses and is always on the top of the home remedies for simple ailments when combined with other ingredients. Crush ½ cup blueberry and mix it with one teaspoon sugar and two tablespoons honey. Mix it well and rub it gently on your face and neck. Wash it off after 20 minutes.
