3 Home Remedies to Naturally Remove Blemishes

Blemishes are a type of imperfection on the skin like dark whiteheads, dark spots, blackheads, scars, or pigmentation marks.

These marks are primarily the result of excess oil production on the skin. Acne and other skin irritants rupture and clog the pores with dead skin cells, oil, and dirt. This causes the formation of even more skin irritants and so on. Blemishes are aggravated by hormonal imbalances, unbalanced diets, and improper sleep too.

Fortunately, there are many remedies for treating these blemishes and removing them. You don’t even have to go to the doctor, you can make many of these at home using ingredients you find in your kitchen.

  1. Tomato Juice
Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants which makes them the perfect substance to use in treating your skin. The juice of a tomato will help shrink the pores that were opened by acne. It acts as a natural astringent which will clean your skin and clear up your blemishes. And the tomato’s high lycopene content will even help remove dark spots. To successfully apply the tomato juice, simply juice the tomato and massage it into your skin. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes then rinse off with warm water, then again with cold water. Doing this regularly helps keep the skin supple and healthy as well.
  2. Egg White
Egg whites have natural enzymes that can even out your skin and lighten scarring. They also have a natural astringent property which can clean your skin and remove the dirt. If you apply egg whites twice weekly for about a month, you will be able to see the blemishes noticeably fade.
  3. Honey
Honey is abundant with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to reduce the visibility of scarring, effectively lightening them. To use this method, simply apply a spoon of honey on the blemishes and let it sit for approximately 15 minutes. Rinse the honey off with cold water.

Home remedies are best for skin care as you have the ingredients handy and the ingredients are all natural too.
