Mustard seeds Recipe

Mustard seeds are the round seeds of a number of mustard plants. These are quite small and are nearly 1.5 millimeters in diameter. Mustard seeds are typically yellowish white to black-colored and are considered to be an important spice. They are used extensively in the Indian and regional cuisines.

Mustard seeds are sourced from either the black mustard plant, the white or yellow mustard plant or the brown Indian mustard. Prepared mustard is made when mustard seeds are ground and mixed with liquids like vinegar or water. It is widely used as a condiment. Mustard seeds contain lots of minerals, vitamins, as well as essential oils.

Store mustard seeds in an airtight container and look out for the manufacturing and expiry dates when you buy.
