Ingredients

lb boneless skinless chicken breasts — cut or shredded: 1

tbsp olive oil: 1

tsp salt: 1

onion – chopped: 1

oz great northern beans can: 12

oz chicken stock: 12

tsp garlic – minced: 1

tsp chili flakes: 1

tsp ground black pepper: 1/2

tsp dried oregano: 1

cup sour cream: 1

tbsp cilantro – finely chopped: 1

How To Make White Chicken Recipe

  • Heat oil in a large and deep pan. Add onion, garlic, and chicken. Saute the chicken till it is golden brown.
  • Add the cooked white beans, chicken stock, salt, oregano, chili flakes, black pepper and oregano to the pot. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the flame to low and cook uncovered for 35 minutes. Remove from the heat.
  • Add sour cream to the white chicken gravy and mix well. Garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve hot.

Note: white beans can be used as a substitute for Northern beans.
