How To Make Watermelon Mojito

  1. With a mortar, crush the mint leaves.
  2. Blend watermelon pulp in to a puree, strain into a jar, and exert the solids well to draw out as much watermelon juice as possible; throw away the residual solids.
  3. In a large container, add the crushed mint leaves, ice cubes, simple sugar syrup, 2 cups of watermelon juice, lime juice, and rum, such as Bacardi, and stir well with wooden spoon to combine.
Note: In place of simple sugar syrup, you can use sugar. In fact, the original recipe of mojitos calls for sugar and not simple syrup. However, ensure that the sugar gets dissolved completely. You can also use honey.
