cup urad dal—washed and dried: 1

cup sugar: 1/2

cardamoms- green: 4

cup ghee: 1/2

How To Make Sunnundalu

  1. Roast black gram until aromatic and set aside to cool.
  2. Blend dry-roasted urad dal with sugar and cardamoms.
  3. In a pan, melt ghee and add the roasted gram flour in batches. Keep stirring as you add the flour and ensure the mixture is smooth. Once cooked well, shape into lemon-sized balls and store an air-tight contains.
  4. Enjoy healthy sunnundalu when a craving for snacks kicks in!
