Ingredients

prebaked pizza crust: 1

prosciutto (thin strips): 2 ounces

thinly sliced medium pear: 1

olive oil: 2 tsp

sherry vinegar: 1 tsp

provolone cheese (shredded): 1/2 cup

sliced sweet onion: 2 cups

toasted chopped walnuts: 2 tbsp

dash black pepper

baby arugula leaves: 1 1/2 cups

How To Make Pear and Prosciutto Pizza

  • Preheat the oven to 450°.
  • In a nonstick skillet, heat oil and add onions. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for three minutes.
  • Remove the lid and cook for ten minutes more until the onions turn golden.
  • Line a pan with baking sheet and place the pizza crust in it.
  • Smear the onion mixture on the crust and top it with cheese.
  • Put the finishing touches with pear and prosciutto.
  • Slide the pan into the oven and bake for 12 minutes. (Since the crust is premade and the prosciutto doesn’t need any cooking, the pizza will bake in a few minutes.)
  • Take the pizza out of the oven and let it cool down for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with nuts.
  • In a bowl, place the arugula leaves and drizzle vinegar over them. Toss gently and top the pizza with them.

Cut the pizza into eight wedges and enjoy!
