Ingredients

large fresh tomatoes: 3

slice bread or ¾ cups fresh bread crumbs: 1

cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese: 1/4

clove minced garlic: 1

tablespoon olive oil: 1

tablespoons fresh parsley: 3

tablespoons fresh dry basil: 3

tablespoons oregano powder: 3

Salt and pepper to taste

How To Make Parmesan Tomatoes

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Using a blender or food processor, process the bread into neat breadcrumbs.
  3. Combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic, olive oil, parsley, basil, oregano powder, salt and pepper. Toss them until thoroughly mixed.
  4. Now cut the tomatoes in halves. Place the sliced tomatoes in a baking dish.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Top them with breadcrumb mixture. Layer them with some more Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until breadcrumbs are slightly browned. But make sure not to over bake them, otherwise the tomatoes will become too mushy.
  7. Serve the yummy Parmesan tomatoes and enjoy!
