Ingredients
crumbled paneer: 2 cups
Kashmiri chilli powder: ½ tsp
garam masala: ¼ tsp
salt to taste
ginger – grated: 1 in
fistful coriander leaf - finely chopped: 1
amchur powder: ½ tsp
whole wheat flour: 1 cup
salt to taste
oil/ghee: 1 tsp
Water as required for kneading
wheat flour for dusting: ¼ cup
Ghee/oil as necessary
How To Make Paneer Paratha
Paneer Stuffing
- Add crumbled paneer to a small mixing bowl.
- Add chilli powder, salt, garam masala, aamchur powder, ginger, and coriander leaves.
- Stir thoroughly and set aside.
Chapathi / Paratha Dough
- Pour wheat flour and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Add water and knead the dough for 5 minutes.
- Grease the dough with a tsp of oil and set aside for at least 20 minutes.
Assembling and Rolling Paneer Paratha
- Pinch a medium sized ball of dough.
- Roll the dough until it is about 5 inches in diameter.
- Place the prepared stuffing in the center.
- Grab the edge and start pleating the dough to the center.
- Press the pleats from center.
- Sprinkle flour and roll the dough to a chapati size.
Roasting Paneer Paratha
- Place the rolled paratha on a hot tava and cook it on both sides.
- Add oil / ghee and press slightly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
