Ingredients

oz. mixed salad greens : 7

large navel oranges, peeled and sectioned: 1 1/4

cup Red onion,sliced: 1/3

cup and 3 tbsp of orange Juice: 1/4

tbsp and 2tsp of vegetable oil: 2

tbsp and 2 tsp of olive oil: 2

tbsp and 2 tsp White sugar: 2

tbsp and 2 tsp Gorgonzola cheese (crumbled): 2

teaspoons Dijon mustard: 1/4

cup walnut halves: 1/2

tsp dried oregano: 1/8

tbsp and 1 tsp balsamic vinegar: 1

tsp ground black pepper: 1/8

How To Make Orange, Walnut, Gorgonzola and Mixed Greens Salad with Fresh Citrus Vinaigrette

  • To a skillet, add the walnuts and toast them in low heat until they are light brown.
  • In a Large bowl, toss the oranges, red onion slices, toasted walnuts and salad greens.
  • To a large jar with a lid, add the olive and vegetable oil along with the vinegar, mustard, oregano, pepper, orange juice and sugar.
  • Tighten the lid and shake well to mix the spices and oil.
