The ideal summer drink that will keep the body hydrated and cool indeed. What’s more, it is very easy to make too! The lemonade has the sweet and tangy taste of kiwi and you should always pick ripe kiwis for the best taste.

Kiwi is very nutritious too and contains vitamin C, E, and K. It has a lot of antioxidant compounds. Kiwi also contains folate and potassium. As it contains a lot of fiber, it enhances digestion.

Ingredients

lemons: 4

kiwis: 6

sugar: 2/3 cup

fresh mint sprigs: 8

sparkling water

water : 2 cups

some kiwi and lemon – for garnishing

How To Make Mint Kiwi Lemonade

  • Boil water and add sugar. Continue heating till the sugar is dissolved.
  • Turn the flame off. Now add the mint leaves. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Peel the kiwis and process in a food processor. Transfer the pulp into a large pitcher. Squeeze the lemons and add the juice into the pitcher.
  • Remove the mint from the sugar syrup and add the syrup into the pitcher.
  • Stir well and keep inside the refrigerator for the flavors to blend and to cool the drink. Serve chilled.
  • Fill 2/3 lemonade in a glass and top up the rest of the glass with sparkling water. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices.

If you want, you can add a pinch of rock salt and black pepper. You can serve it with any snack of your choice. In this recipe, we have used the kiwi pulp as it is to retain the fiber. If you wish, you can strain the pulp. You can also substitute sugar syrup with honey.
