black pepper: 1 tsp

How To Make Kollu Podi

  • Roast the horse gram with red chillies until they turn golden.
    • Note: The horse gram will start popping to let you know it’s the right time to switch off the stove.
  • Roast over a medium flame to ensure even roasting.
    • Let it cool down.
  • Powder the horse gram, red chillies and salt together.
    • Add crushed garlic and pepper.
    • Blend the mixer once.
  • Store in an airtight containers
