The question forming in your mind right now is something in the region of “what is Kofta made of?”  Well, there are other ingredients but the main ingredient is beer formed in the shape of a ball and a number of seasoning ingredients to spice up the taste.

Ingredients

kg beef- minced: 1

onions- finely chopped: 4

tbsp garlic paste: 3

tbsp ginger paste: 2

tbsp garam masala: 2

tbsp tomato- ketchup: 2

tsp coriander leaves- finely chopped: 1/2

salt to taste

tbsp vegetable oil : 2

tsp coriander powder: 2

tsp cumin powder : 1

tsp turmeric powder: 1/2

tsp chili powder: 1

tsp garam masala: 1

tomato- cubed: 3

How To Make Kofta (Turkish Meatballs)

  • Add and mix in a large bowl the minced beef, half of chopped onions, garlic paste, ginger paste, garam masala, tomato ketchup and coriander leaves. Make equal sized balls out of the mixture and keep it in a plate.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the remaining onion for 3 minutes. Add coriander, cumin, red chili powder, garlic paste, turmeric and fry thoroughly for 3 minutes.
  • Pour in the tomatoes, mix well and fry masala for 2 minutes or until the oil starts to give way.
  • Add water egg m water, season with salt, add meatballs gently but do not stir it until after 5 minutes have passed.
  • Remove meatballs and serve rice
