Ingredients

cup of warm water (heated up to 110 to 115 degrees): 1 2/3

teaspoon of active dry yeast: 1 1/2

cups of all-purpose flour: 2

teaspoon of salt: 1/2

egg, beaten: 1

tablespoons of olive oil: 2

How To Make Italian Pizza Dough

  1. In the lukewarm water, stir in yeast and sugar using a fork.
  2. Let the warm rest in a warm place for ten minutes or until a creamy layer is achieved on the top of the water.
  3. Mix flour and salt in a large-sized mixing bowl.
  4. Add olive oil in the flour and stir for two minutes.
  5. Pour yeast mixture into the flour and stir to make the dough.
  6. Transfer the dough to work surface, dusted with loose flour. Knead dough until it is springy and smooth.
  7. Place dough into a floured bowl and cover with a plastic wrap that is lightly wiped with olive oil.
  8. Let the dough rise until it has doubled in size.
  9. Punch out and use as per requirement.
