Ingredients

cup dried bread crumbs – seasoned: 1

cup hazelnuts – grounded: 1/2

boneless chicken breasts – skinless: 4

egg – beaten: 1

cup butter: 1/8

fresh mushrooms – sliced: 8

oz brandy: 1 1/2

oz hazelnut liqueur: 2

How To Make Hazelnut Chicken

  • Mix bread crumbs and hazelnuts together in a shallow dish.
  • Dip chicken breasts in the egg then dip them with the crumb/nut mixture by dipping them into the mixture.
  • Use a large saucepan to melt the butter or margarine over medium high heat.
  • Brown chicken on both sides.
  • Add the mushrooms, and extra butter or margarine as necessary.
  • Sauté until the mushrooms soften; about 2 min.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the brandy.
  • Light with a match and let the flame evaporate the alcohol.
  • Add hazelnut liquor when the flame goes out.
  • Light with a match and let the flame evaporate the alcohol.
  • Reapplythe saucepan to the heat once the flame fully extinguishes.
  • Let the dish simmer to reduce liquid/sauce until it thickens.
  • Serve and enjoy!
