Trivia

Did you know onions are amongst the oldest foods known to mankind? Humans have been consuming onions for 7,000 years now. It is believed that ancient Egyptians worshipped the onion! Interestingly enough, an old saying goes that the thicker the skin of an onion, the colder will be the winters!

You can eat onions raw, cook them, or even pickle them. If you’re a pet owner, keep those onions away from your furry pal lest he consumes them and develops anemia. In many cases, onion consumption by dogs can even prove fatal!
