Ingredients

lime wedges, each wedge cut in half crosswise: 4

Sugar: 2 tsp

ice cubes: 1 cup

cachaça: 2-1/2 oz

How To Make Caipirinha

  1. Place 2 to 3 pieces of lime and the sugar into a short glass. If you want to make a sweeter drink, use all of the sugar.
  2. Mix the lime and sugar well. You can use a muddler to crush down the limes and release its juice. The quality of your drink will be determined by how crushed the limes are.
  3. Fill the glass with the ice cubes.
  4. Add the cachaça and stir thoroughly.
