Whoever says bland is boring should try baked chicken. Bland, perhaps. Boring? an affirmative no! Baked chicken, like popcorn and French fries, never run out of fashion. It is on the most-preferred list of every minimalist chef and fitness enthusiast. Needless to mention, kids love the stuff too! Baked chicken is a classic dish, healthy, filling, and relished by toddlers, children, and adults alike.

Ingredients

2 skinless and boneless chicken breasts cut into halves.

olive oil: 2 tbsp

Sea salt: 1 tbsp

Creole seasoning to taste

How To Make Baked Chicken

  • Preheat oven to 200°C - 400°C.
  • Glaze chicken breasts with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle salt and seasoning on chicken breasts.
  • Note: Ensure that chicken is salted and seasoned evenly.

  • Place seasoned chicken in a broiler pan.
  • Bake chicken for 10 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken over and bake till it turns pink.

Note: When chicken is cooked well, it starts letting out juices.

Use a kitchen thermometer to determine whether baked chicken is ready to eat. You may unload the chicken from your oven once the thermometer displays 165°F or 74°C.

You can include mashed potatoes or roasted English vegetables seasoned with herbs to accompany baked chicken.
