Apple Cake (Apfelkuchen)

Apple Cake

Apple Cake also known as apfelkuchen is another member of the Dutch apple cake desserts. It is one you should definitely keep in your dessert inventory; it will impress your friends and family, and most importantly your pallet. This dessert relies on the apple slices to infuse the plain cake with fragrance and taste. Traditional apple cakes don’t just rely on the flavor provided by the apple however. They tend to add a series of other spices like nutmeg and cinnamon to make this dish even more delectable.
