Top Ingredients to Get Rid of Acne and Pimple Marks

Aloe Vera

The gel that comes from aloe vera is full of potent vitamins that can heal your skin and help your scars fade. Aloe is a gentle treatment solution, so you won’t harm your skin further by applying the gel. You can buy aloe vera in drug stores or pharmacies in the form of prepackaged gel or lotion. You can also buy fresh aloe vera or even raise a plant, so you always have a ready source available. Simply break off a leaf and peel it back to expose the gel.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is great for making cookies and cakes, and for treating your skin. The crystalized sodium act as gentle exfoliators and are the foundation of a top-notch cleansing scrub. Simply mix the baking soda with some warm water and form it into a thick paste. Then massage the paste into your face; your pores will be cleansed and your scarring will begin to fade.

Lemon

The juice that comes from lemons is a natural acid, alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA). It has a natural astringent quality and can be used to clean the skin. Lemon juice also promotes healing and will revitalize the skin. Make sure to dilute the lemon juice when using it as a skin treatment, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Sugar Scrub

You can make homemade sugar scrubs to heal acne scars and exfoliate your skin. Sugar cane is a powerful source of glycolic acid which is an alpha hydroxy acid, so you will definitely feel the difference after using the scrub. To make the scrub, just mix 2 parts organic cane sugar with 1-part virgin olive oil, then add in a few drops of organic lemon juice. Massage the scrub into your face and let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing it off.
