Top 5 Magical Skin Toners from your Kitchen Pantry

Not everyone is blessed with perfect skin. Some must have time, money and ‘branded’ commodity to maintain healthy skin. People who are too thrifty tend to ignore their skin care completely. However, there a much affordable ways to keep your skin clean and all the ingredients are right there in the house, your kitchen!

Apple cider vinegar

This is one of the ingredients which can be used as food ingredients, especially salads and at the same time, it has several medicinal benefits. This wonder ingredient is the cheapest and the best natural skin toner too. For sensitive skin, it is recommended to dilute it with equal parts of water. If you want to lighten your skin, apply and leave it overnight.

Mint leaves

This is also one of the most affordable and yet magical ingredients that you can regularly include in your skin care. Boil the mint leaves for at least 15 minutes. Allow it to cool down, soak the cotton ball or pads, and follow the usual method. Use it regularly to reduce the oil production on your skin.

Camphor and Rose Water

Please note that only a few types of camphor are edible and the rest are used as topical remedies for cold, skin irritation or pain. It is used for auspicious ceremonies, especially during ‘aarti’. This ingredient has a distinct aroma that also relaxes your mind. Rose water has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial qualities, plus it is an excellent remedy for dry skin. Crush camphor into a coarse powder and add rose water. Make it into a thick paste.

Lemon juice

There is no kitchen without lemons in their pantry. Just cut the lemon into half and gently rub it on your face and skin. Alternatively, you can squeeze the juice and dip a cotton ball or pad in it. Follow the usual routine. Leave it overnight if you want to get rid of acne marks.

Aloe vera

Without this ingredient, this list will be incomplete. Just like the above ingredients that have a multi-purpose due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, it also helps in maintaining good health, control blood sugar and healthy skin naturally. Peel the thin layer and scoop the pulp or cut the leaf into half and rub it on your face and skin.
